Book and Content Editing
At Macmillan, I worked with authors to resolve thematic, “big picture” issues in their manuscripts, including structure, form, plot, and character, and sentence-level errors, such as punctuation and grammar. I also collaborated with creative directors, illustrators, and sales teams to develop covers and interiors that strategically positioned the books. This is a selection of books I’ve edited and co-edited, from picture books to young adult.
Medical and Copy Editing
At minds + assembly, I led editorial oversight, brand management, and quality control for TAKHZYRO, a leading rare disease brand under Takeda Pharmaceuticals. I edited print and digital promotional materials (websites, social posts, emails, videos, brochures, decks, and more), fact-checked deliverables for scientific usage and clarity, and ensured adherence to brand and American Medical Association style. I also shaped brand identity and voice by maintaining the brand style guide.
